About This Service

Intensive In-Home (IIH) is a team-based, community-delivered behavioral health service for children and adolescents experiencing serious emotional and behavioral challenges. Operating 24/7/365, IIH teams work directly in the home and community to stabilize youth, strengthen families, and prevent out-of-home placements. Services include individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, skills building, and person-centered care planning.

Open Positions

Team Lead

Licensed Clinician

The Team Lead is a fully licensed mental health clinician who provides clinical leadership for the IIH team. This role delivers individual and family therapy, supervises team members, leads clinical assessments, and coordinates crisis response.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active NC clinical licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in child/adolescent behavioral health
  • Strong skills in clinical supervision, family therapy, and crisis intervention

Qualified Professional (QP)

The Qualified Professional delivers direct behavioral health interventions and supports implementation of each youth's Person-Centered Plan. QPs provide skills training, therapeutic support, and community-based services to youth and families in their natural environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services or related field (meets NC QP definition)
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in community settings
  • Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills

Associate Professional (AP)

The Associate Professional provides paraprofessional support under the direction of the QP and Team Lead. APs assist with skill-building activities, daily living support, and therapeutic engagement — playing a vital role in the day-to-day success of the IIH team.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant human services experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
