Community Support Team (CST) Services for Adults
Community Support Team (CST) is a comprehensive, community-based behavioral health service designed to help individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses and who are homeless manage their symptoms, find housing, and improve their quality of life. This is an adult only service.
What is CST?
The Community Support Team is comprised of four members: 1 Licensed Clinician, 1 Behavioral Health Qualified Professional, 1 Substance Use Counselor, and 1 Peer Support Specialist.
- Services Provided — Symptom management, coping skills training, assistance with social and community integration, and referral assistance with housing, education, and employment
- Team Composition — Licensed clinician, substance use counselor, qualified mental health professional, and peer support specialist
- Settings — Provided in the individual’s home, community, or office to ensure accessibility
- Availability — 24/7/365 crisis response to promote symptom management, community integration, and reduce hospitalizations
